200 4 Sprint Car RulesWe are racing scale model cars. R/C Sprint cars should resemble typical full-scale cars as run in the World of Outlaws, Central Pennsylvania, URC, KARS, etc. All aspects of the car should be reasonable representations of their full-scale counterparts. Wings : Sprints must run a top wing and it must be mounted over the driver’s cage.
Body : A sprint car body and tail tank are required. Bodies must resemble full-scale cars. All cars must carry numbers on either tail tank or top wing (or both).Roll Cage : A rollcage constructed of round materials is required. Minimum height of the roll cage is 4 ½" from the chassis to the top of the roll cage. Roll cages must resemble full-scale cages.Nerf Bars : Side nerf bars constructed of round materials are required.Front Bumper : Not required but if fitted must not extend past middle of front tires. Bumper must have no sharp edges.Rear Bumper : A rear bumper constructed of round materials is required.Headers : Headers are required (metal, plastic or lexan).Chassis : Full suspension only, no pan cars. Two-wheel drive only.Motor : Modified motor, any wind, brushes or springs.Transmission : Associated type gear-reduction transmissions only.Batteries : Six cell sub-C maximum with a MAH rating of 3700 or lower.Tires : Foam tires only.Weight : Minimum 3 ½ lbs. (3 lbs. 8 oz = 56 oz.) with personal transponderWidth : Maximum width 10 ½" Length: Maximum length 18"Height: Maximum height 12", minimum height 9"Tire Width : Maximum tire width 2 ½"Wheelbase : Maximum 11"Rules are subject to change.
